BACS STAFF

Cafeteria Supervisor (FT)

  • Oversees the BACS Cafeteria by leading a team of 15+ employees to ensure lunch is successfully served to 800+ students and staff members each day. (Job Description)
  • Regular Work Schedule: Average 40 hours per week during the school year (10 months, August-May); Shift typically starts at 7 AM and ends between 3-4 PM
  • Summer Schedule: Off during the month of June; Part-time work schedule required some weeks in July to prepare for the new school year
  • Compensation: Hourly pay rate will depend on relevant qualifications and experience; Eligible for BACS Employee Tuition Discount (K-12 only) and health insurance benefits; Paid sick leave, personal days, and school holidays provided

High School History Teacher (2024-25)

  • Courses include: World Geography, World History
  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree completed; at least 24 hours of relevant college coursework OR history or social studies certification; Previous experience teaching secondary students preferred

Junior High Math Teacher (2024-25)  

  • Courses include: Math 7, Honors Pre-Algebra 7, and Pre-Algebra 8
  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree completed; at least 24 hours of college math credits OR math certification; Previous experience teaching secondary students preferred

Secondary Teacher (2024-25 - Anticipated)

  • For anticipated Junior High (7th & 8th grade) and/or High School (9th-12th grade) teaching opportunities
  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree completed; at least 24 hours in content area OR appropriate teaching certification; Previous experience teaching secondary students preferred

Elementary Teacher (2024-25 - Anticipated)

  • For anticipated Elementary (K-6th grade) teaching opportunities

  • Before and after school supervision, known as Extended Care, is provided to assist BACS parents who need additional supervision for children outside of the school day
  • Morning Schedule: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Afternoon Schedule:  3:15 PM – 6:00 PM
  • This position is intended for adult applicants 18+ only; HS student workers should use the "Extended Care Student Workers" application link below

Athletics Event Support

  • Provide customer service by attending to the gate or concessions stand at home athletic events on the BACS campus
  • Schedule varies based on the needs of the BACS Athletics Dept. for events

Operations

School Bus Drivers (with CDL)

  • Pay Rates: $20 per hour drive time and $8 per hour on-call wait time
  • Schedule: varies depending on school field trips and athletic events calendar, but prior notice would be given for available shifts

 

BAY AREA CHURCH 

Assistant to the Executive Pastor (FT)

  • Full-time (32 hours/week) church staff position; Eligible for health insurance benefits and paid leave

Student Ministry Intern - Summer 2024

  • Full-time seasonal opportunity from May to August 2024
  • Must have completed freshman year of college when internship begins

Kids Ministry - Nursery Adult Workers

  • Must be at least 18 years of age for consideration
  • Depending on your schedule availability and the ministry's needs, shifts may include: Tuesday evenings (during Care Ministry groups), Wednesday evenings (during Midweek), Saturdays (special events), Sundays (AM worship services, special events)
