Bay Area Christian School (BACS) seeks to fulfill the following needs for the 2019-2020 school year. Start dates are dependent on specific duties posed by each individual position and may vary accordingly. Qualified candidates for faculty positions would be those who confess Christ and exhibit a Christian lifestyle, have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and have at least 24 hours in the specific content discipline advertised. Qualified candidates for substitute teaching positions would be those who confess Christ, exhibit a Christian lifestyle, and have a minimum of 24 hours of college coursework completed.  Transcripts are required to verify the completion of coursework – unofficial transcript copies are acceptable.  Interested substitute teacher applicants should send completed applications along with college transcripts to Human Resources. Only submissions containing both of the mentioned elements will be processed.

Elementary Assistant Principal

Bay Area Christian School will have an opening for the 2020-21 school year for an Elementary Assistant Principal.  The Elementary Assistant Principal will assist the Elementary School Principal in the overall administration of the instructional program and campus-level operations.  The Elementary Assistant Principal will also help coordinate assigned student activities and services as well as other administrative functions within the scope of supervision.  

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, preferably in education
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a classroom teacher
  • Will have a CDL within six (6) months of hire date

Bay Area Christian School has an opening for a part-time Cafeteria Aide.
