- Faculty Positions: BACS Teachers have a required minimum of a bachelor's degree completed with 24 credit hours in the specific content discipline advertised, OR appropriate teaching certification may be required. The Operations team supports Bay Area Christian School, the Early Learning Academy, and Bay Area Church.
Maintenance Technician (Full-time)
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of both routine and emergency maintenance, repair, and custodial duties to provide a clean, orderly and safe campus environment for the church and school. Summer Maintenance Technician (Full-time, Seasonal)
This is a full-time, non-exempt, seasonal position. Employees will begin working the week after school ends in May through the week before school resumes in August. Pay rate is $10.00 per hour. CDL-Licensed Bus Drivers (Part-time, As-Needed basis)
CDL-licensed bus drivers are needed to provide transportation for our school and church ministries on a part-time, as-needed basis. To operate the full list of vehicles in our fleet, drivers will need a Class B License with a Passenger Endorsement. Pay rate is $20/hour for drive time and $8/hour for on-call/wait time.
Scheduling is communicated in advance with drivers to ensure availability and coverage. Hours will vary and fluctuate based on event schedules throughout the year. Please include your shift availability for any combination of the following schedules when applying: weekday trips, afternoon/evening trips, weekend trips, and/or overnight trips.

Director of Student Support (2023-24)
Bay Area Christian School exists to bring glory and honor to God through all avenues of life. It is our desire to provide all students with appropriate learning experiences and support that is intentionally designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual growth. The Director of Student Support is a new position being added for the 2023-24 school year, which will serve as a primary resource for students and their families to help overcome barriers that interfere with learning through the use of assessment, counseling, consultation, and coordination of school and community resources.

Elementary Assistant Principal (2023-24)
Bay Area Christian School is seeking a distinctively Christian leader who loves Jesus, children, and Christian education to partner with our Elementary Principal in overseeing this growing division of our school.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Christian school teacher and administrator, will be an effective and energetic communicator, will seek to partner with families in the mode of Deuteronomy 6 education, and will collaborate well. We also desire an individual who can be an innovator while respecting and building on our school’s rich heritage of and strong reputation for providing quality Christian education and impacting lives for now and eternity.
The Elementary Assistant Principal will help the Elementary Principal lead an astute and experienced faculty and staff, while partnering with a collaborative school administrative team that includes our Junior High and High School Principals, ELA Preschool Director, Athletic Director, Fine Arts Director, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and the Head of School. He or she should be able to ascribe wholeheartedly to our Statement of Faith and should be prepared to attend Bay Area Church as an active member. This is a 12-month contract position that will include office hours, planning sessions, and training events throughout the summer months.

BACS is always looking for great Substitute Teachers! Subs can designate which division(s) they prefer to provide coverage - elementary, junior high, and/or high school. Qualified candidates for K-12 substitute teaching positions would be those who confess Christ as their savior, exhibit a Christian lifestyle that aligns with Bay Area Church's Statement of Faith, and have a minimum of 24 hours of college coursework completed. ELA teachers and staff will model Christian character in the classroom. All of our teachers are experienced in teaching young children. Throughout the year, our staff participates in conferences and workshops specifically designed for teachers of preschoolers. Our staff brings years of education, training and experience to our program. Each class has an experienced preschool teacher and a classroom assistant that assists with projects and center time.
Preschool PM Plus Teachers (PT)
The Early Learning Academy is looking for part-time PM Plus Teachers for the 2022-23 school year. The PM Plus schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
