April 30 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Families,

Yesterday, we had the privilege of witnessing 30 of our students participate in believer’s baptism during chapel. Throughout the school year, we’ve also heard of other students taking this important step at their home churches. We are incredibly excited for each of these students as they step out in obedience and boldly proclaim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

This week, we’ve been celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to everyone in our community who has volunteered or contributed in some way to honor our faculty and staff, making them feel valued and encouraged. We are blessed with some of the finest educators, and it is truly a privilege to serve alongside them and partner with you in the education of your students each day.

Next month, instead of a regular May newsletter, we will be sharing a special Year-in-Review edition celebrating the 2025–2026 school year. We are excited to bring you this publication, highlighting the many stories, accomplishments, and moments that have made this year so meaningful. As I reflect on all that God has done, I am both humbled and grateful for the incredible faculty, staff, and students who make up this community. It is truly a testament to His goodness.

For over 50 years our school has served as a ministry of Bay Area Church. On these 48 acres, we serve over 900 students from Pre-K through twelfth grade. We strive to do everything from a Christ-centered approach and place an emphasis on educating the next generation from a Biblical worldview.
