April 4 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Family,
I want to begin by thanking all of you for coming out last week to support our students at the Talent Show and for your attendance at the Spring Carnival. A special thank you to our incredible faculty and staff for their hard work in coordinating these events and making them a memorable experience for our community.
Recently, I was reading a devotional that referenced Proverbs 16:21, which says, "The wise of heart is called discerning, and sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness." This verse reminds us that wisdom is more than intellect—it is discernment and the way we communicate with others. For decades, the heartbeat of BACS has been to nurture students in both knowledge and character, equipping them to walk in wisdom and grace.
Here are three simple yet powerful ways we can apply this truth and model this behavior for our students:
-
Pray for wisdom – Ask God daily for discernment as we teach, lead, and interact with others.
-
Seek godly counsel – Surround yourself with those who encourage biblical wisdom in decision-making.
-
Speak with grace – Whether in a classroom, on the playground, on social media, or at home, let your words reflect the love and wisdom of Christ.
As we continue this school year, may we all strive to be a community that seeks God’s wisdom, exercises discernment, and speaks with grace.
It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
