August 28 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear Bronco Family,
This past Wednesday, I had the privilege of sharing in all three chapels. The Scripture I felt led to read came from this month’s Red Star passage in James 1. As I read it to our Kindergarten–2nd grade students, something special happened—the students began reciting the passage from memory. Surprised and moved, I paused and simply let them finish together. What a joy it is to hear our youngest students boldly speaking God’s Word in unison!
Moments like this remind me of the incredible value of Kingdom Education. Parents, the sacrifices you make to have your children here are a worthy investment. They are not only learning academic skills but also storing God’s truth in their hearts. Scripture commands us:
“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul…” (Deuteronomy 11:18)
“My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.” (Proverbs 3:1–2)
What a blessing to see these verses come alive in our students!
I also want to share some exciting news. Many of you remember last spring’s Carnival, where we raised $50,000. As promised, every dollar has gone directly back into our elementary classrooms. While some funds met teacher wish list items, the majority supported technology upgrades. We are thrilled to announce the purchase of 96 Chromebooks for our 5th and 6th grade classrooms and 50 iPads for Kindergarten–4th grade.
Although we remain traditional in our educational approach, integrating technology is important. These devices will allow our older students to research and type papers more effectively while giving our younger students engaging tools for centers and lessons. These resources are already helping our teachers create stronger, more interactive learning experiences.
Thank you, Bronco families, for your generosity and trust. It is truly our privilege to partner with you in educating your children—an opportunity we do not take lightly.
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend, and as always—It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
