January 22 Head of School Update

Dear BACS Family,

As you are likely aware, we are expecting some wintry conditions this weekend. We will continue to monitor the weather closely, and if there are any changes that impact our schedule, we will communicate those updates through FACTS Parent Alert and our social media channels.

This fall, many of you participated in our parent satisfaction survey. I want you to know how grateful we are for the time and thoughtful feedback you shared, and that it has not been overlooked. Several consistent themes emerged that affirmed what makes BACS such a special place. Families expressed appreciation for our Christ-centered environment rooted in Kingdom education and a biblical worldview, the academic quality and strong culture of learning in our classrooms, the genuine care and love shown by our incredible teachers, our supportive community, and our commitment to maintaining smaller class sizes.

We also recognize that there is always room for growth, and we are thankful for the perspectives you provided. Your feedback will help us continue strengthening BACS for the generations to come.

Finally, please note that the Texas Education Freedom Account application window opens on February 4 and closes on March 17. Be on the lookout for an email next week with helpful information and next steps.

For over 50 years our school has served as a ministry of Bay Area Church. On these 48 acres, we serve over 900 students from Pre-K through twelfth grade.
