May 22 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Family,
Friday night will mark the conclusion of our 52nd year of serving this community and impacting lives for both now and eternity through Kingdom education, as 48 graduates walk across the stage in celebration of a significant milestone—high school graduation.
This exceptional class has collectively earned over $1.3 million in scholarships and will be attending universities across the country—from the United States Naval Academy to Clemson, from Samford to Texas A&M, from LSU to Kansas State, and from Houston Christian to Baylor, with many more in between. They are a truly gifted group, and we are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished. I’m eager to see how the Lord will use each of their lives for His glory.
As we head into summer, enrollment momentum remains strong. Our Early Learning Academy and K–12 enrollment is once again projected to reach approximately 950 students. Administratively, we are diligently preparing for the year ahead. We’ve made several outstanding hires for the 2025–2026 school year, and we look forward to introducing them in our July Back-to-School Newsletter. Next week, our administrative team will participate in collaborative sessions to reflect on this past year and finalize plans for the upcoming one.
Be on the lookout for one final “Housekeeping” HoS Update next week, which will include helpful reminders for the summer.
As we close out the school year, I want to offer a special thank you to Bay Area Church and church leadership for their support of Christian education. I’m deeply grateful for our BACS School Board trustees, who have served with wisdom and dedication. Thank you to our incredible faculty and staff, who have poured into our students with love and care. And thank you to our wonderful Bronco families—your continued support and partnership mean the world to us.
Have a safe Memorial Day Weekend as we pause to honor those who gave their lives in service to our great nation. I pray that you and your family enjoy a restful summer, and we look forward to seeing you in August.
Praise God for a tremendous school year. It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
