May 29 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Family,

I hope this email finds you enjoying the first week of summer break!

This will be the final scheduled Head of School Update until early August. Throughout the summer, you can expect important communication from divisional and departmental offices, so please keep an eye on your inbox. Our Back-to-School Newsletter will be released in mid-July and will include key updates for the upcoming year.

Please note that our summer office hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM. School offices will be closed the weeks of June 2nd and June 23rd as we host Vacation Bible School and Pine Cove in the City, but administrative and office staff will still be monitoring and responding to email during those weeks. Though our students are off campus, there is still plenty of activity and excitement here! We’re busy painting, preparing, and praying for the year ahead. Summer Camp for our Early Learning Academy and athletic summer workouts are already underway. Programs like Lunch Bunch, various sports camps, and Camp Bronco are scheduled throughout the summer. Administratively, we continue to work diligently and have made several outstanding hires for the 2025–2026 school year, which will be highlighted in the July newsletter.

Earlier this week, our administrative team gathered for collaborative planning sessions to reflect on this past year, review feedback from parents, students, and staff, and look ahead to next year. These moments of evaluation and vision casting help us stay anchored in our mission. I’m incredibly grateful to serve alongside such a dedicated, Christ-centered team of leaders.
