October 16 Head of School Weekly Update

by Les Rainey on October 16, 2025

Dear BACS Family,

The second quarter has begun at a sprinter’s pace! Athletics and performing arts competitions are in full swing, educational field trips and spiritual formation retreats are happening across multiple grade levels, and Homecoming Week is right around the corner!

As part of our ongoing efforts to foster a culture of feedback at BACS, a school-wide stakeholder survey will be distributed via email on October 27th. Your input is incredibly valuable in helping us improve, serve families well, and faithfully fulfill our mission. Please take 10–15 minutes to complete the survey once it arrives—we truly appreciate your time and perspective.

Our Annual Fund has also officially kicked off. Here are a few key details:

  • Our goal is 100% participation from BACS Faculty, Staff, and School Board.
  • Proceeds from the Elementary Fun Run will directly support the Annual Fund.
  • Families not participating in the Fun Run are invited to join us in reaching our goal through Annual Fund giving.

Remember, we don’t sell candy, cookies, popcorn, or gift wrap—so this is your best opportunity to support your Broncos!

This year’s Annual Fund will help provide: security technology upgrades, including additional and updated cameras, tuition assistance for qualified families who desire a Kingdom education, and replacement of aging playground equipment to enhance student safety and play.

All gifts are tax-deductible and can be made by check or online before December 31st. Please write “Annual Fund” in the memo line of any check, or click here to give online. For more information, contact the Admin Office at .

There’s so much happening at BACS—far more than I can fit in this weekly update—but please know this: our faculty, staff, and administration are deeply committed to providing your child with the best Christian education possible. We’re deeply grateful to walk alongside you in equipping the next generation to hear and obey God in every area of life.

It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
