October 23 Head of School Weekly Update
Dear BACS Family,
Without a doubt, Homecoming Week at BACS is one of my favorite weeks of the school year! Homecoming is a special time at any school, but in a PreK–12 environment, it’s filled with lots of energy and excitement. As we celebrate the rich heritage of Bay Area Christian School, we’re reminded once again of God’s provision and His continued blessing over our school community—our incredible faculty, staff, students, and families—for the past 53 years.
Tonight is our parade and pep rally at 6:30 p.m., and we’re expecting a great crowd and beautiful weather. These community events are always a highlight of the year—thank you for coming out to support our students! Tomorrow’s festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Chili Cook-Off, followed by kickoff at 7:00 p.m. at the football stadium. We look forward to hosting you and your family for these fun and exciting events.
In keeping with tradition, all of our alumni have been invited to join in the Homecoming celebrations this week. Whether they graduated recently or decades ago, alumni and current students alike share the same sense of belonging—once a Bronco, always a Bronco.
Finally, don’t forget that on Monday, October 27th, a school-wide survey will be emailed out. We’ve partnered with Banner61, an organization that works with schools, churches, and nonprofits to develop data-informed strategies through meaningful feedback. We truly value your input as we seek to serve families well and create an environment where every student can thrive.
It’s always a great day to be a Bronco!
