September 3 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Family,

What an incredible Friday we have in store!

Tomorrow morning, we’ll kick things off with our Mugs and Muffins fellowship at 8:00 a.m. in the Athletic Center. I can’t wait to spend some time together and share a few exciting things happening across our campus, both right now and as we look toward the future.

The excitement continues throughout the day with our Pep Rally, K–2 Night, and the return of Friday Night Lights! I hope you’ll join us as we support our players, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, student trainers, and everyone who works behind the scenes to make Friday nights such a special part of the BACS experience.

And while we’re talking about Bronco athletics, you might not know it because they’re practicing early in the morning before most of us arrive on campus, but our Cross Country team is hard at work and entering the heart of its season. Our Volleyball team also begins district play next week. Let’s get out and support our Bronco students as they represent BACS!

This summer, our Operations team completed a record number of projects across campus, from helping us welcome and equip our wonderful new Faculty and Staff to significant improvements in our classrooms, facilities, and student spaces. None of this would have been possible without the tremendous generosity, hard work, and support of so many people and groups within our community. Please click here as we celebrate them and say an enormous thank you to everyone who helped turn these plans and dreams into reality.

Finally, if you’re looking for a church home, we would love for you to join us at Bay Area Church on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 10:00, or 11:30 a.m. Beginning September 12th, Bay Area Church will launch its new Chains sermon series. We all experience things in life that can hold us back, weigh us down, or keep us from experiencing the freedom God desires for us. I believe this will be a timely and meaningful series for many in our community.

There is a lot to celebrate, and I’m grateful for the people who make BACS such a special place to learn, grow, serve, and belong.
